Skin Protector for PEG/SPC – Jade Fan Print
£7.00 – £8.00Our exclusive PEG/SPC skin protectors have been designed and handcrafted with comfort and functionality in mind and use a copyrighted pattern design. I am a peg-fed, disabled designer and have personally tried out all sorts of fabrics but these have proven to be the best by far. The unique geometric shape is comfortable under clothes and is where function meets fashion! I use them daily around my peg and suprapubic catheter sites. The Zorb® is extra absorbent, reducing how often our pads need changing. The Zorb® Silvadur™ is the star of the show. This fabric has been scientifically proven to reduce the bacterial build up and from my own experience it stopped my peg from becoming so gunky, smelly & uncomfortable. The pads close with a KAM snap making them hypoallergenic, x-ray safe and comply with regulations for children's products. They have a cutaway in the middle giving plenty of space for various tube sizes, they are then top-stitched to secure the layers. As these are handcrafted items, the size and fabric placement may differ from the photos shown. We can make larger pads to use around tracheostomies too but please message us before ordering if that is what you would like to use them for. **This design is copyrighted, please do not replicate it.** These PEG/SPC skin protectors can be washed up 40 degrees and are best dried flat. The Tana Lawn™ we use is 100% cotton and is a fabric with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy. Machine washable and durable enough for daily use. They are backed with high-quality Eygptian cotton, which has an envelope closure to hide the pillow insert. This beautiful pillowcase is handmade exclusively from silky soft Liberty of London Tana Lawn Cotton in 'Betsy' The delicate print features a floral design in pretty pinks and soft greens with a hint of mustard. Dimension are 50 cm x 70 cm approx due to this being a handmade product This product can be washed up to 40 Degrees. Tumble Dry on a low heat setting. Handmade to order. Lap Pad – Scottie Dog Print
£35.00 – £38.00We started to offer these products after my son who has autism responded really well to weighted items. They also work just as well for anxious pets, the weight feels like a hug!
Our lap pads are filled with your preferred weight of high quality hypoallergenic poly pellets, which are encased inner lining for your safety and comfort. Our lap pads are approx, 52cm long and 31cm wide. The pellets are distributed evenly into a grid pattern along the length of the pad. It is recommended that the pad weighs approx. 10% of the user's body weight, if you would like a heavier pad please contact us.
We choose a complimenting backing of soft fleece, which feels fabulous against your skin or you can upgrade to a teddy bear fleece backing for an extra fee.
Weighted blankets are comforting as they press on pressure points. They help to establish a sense of calm at any time of day or night for continuous anxiety and stress relief. They are a cost effective, safe, and a portable tool for use whenever and wherever needed.The lap pads can be machine washed on cool/tumble dry low.
Adult supervision is recommended for children. Not suitable for children under 2 years.
As the blankets are all handmade, sizing and pattern placement may vary slightly.
